One of the most common file formats used with digital cameras is JPEG or JPG. When using JPEG, be sure to save the files with low compression and high quality. Set your camera resolution setting to high (that�s the larger number in your resolution setting (640x480, 1024x768, 1280x960, 1600x1200, 2048x 1536, 2288x1712, 2272x1704 etc.) and your compression to fine or High Quality. Most digital cameras offer multiple compression setting (SQ � Standard, HQ � High Quality, SHQ � Super High Quality). Size of file will determine print and enlargement quality.
RGB .jpg or .tif PC format only. Larger/Higher quality .tif files at 300ppi will produce better quality prints.
Prints available from floppy disks, CD, SmartMedia, CompactFlash, Memory Stick, Zip 100 disks, XD, or SD/MM.
Your digital image files will be printed into prints and enlargements with the same color with which they were encoded (recorded). Your photos may look different from what you see on your screen (monitor), because all computer monitors display colors differently.
